The noticeable difference in our Single Origin beans can be defined by one word: flavour.
Our newest Single Origin bean, Costa Rican Naranjo, is sourced from the renowned Hacienda Pilas estate in Costa Rica’s West Valley. Nestled between 1,000 and 1,200 metres above sea level, this estate benefits from rich volcanic soils and a unique climate, resulting in high quality coffee.
Owned and managed by Eduardo Gurdian Pacheco, a seasoned coffee agronomist with deep roots in Costa Rica’s coffee heritage, the Costa Rican Naranjo beans embody generations of coffee-growing expertise. The estate is committed to sustainable practices and social responsibility, with 160 hectares dedicated to cultivating these premium beans. This dedication is reflected in every cup made with our new Costa Rican Naranjo Single Origin.
Single Origin coffee is grown within a distinct geographic location, meaning either a single farm or one country. It is influenced by specific natural attributes such as climate, landscape, and altitude where the beans were grown.
Each bean delivers a bespoke flavour, providing taste profiles that might sometimes get lost in a blend.
Featuring earthy notes of walnut and rich dark chocolate, balanced with the citrusy flavours of nectarine and a smooth finish of honey.
